Going deeper.
What people are saying…
Ashley approaches my body with respect, confidence, focused intention and awareness of my individual needs. She moves my body gently and purposefully, returning it to its optimal state of alignment and equilibrium. I enjoy our sessions immensely and cannot imagine my overall wellness without Ashley as part of it. I am grateful for her gift!

Ashley has given me so many insights about what is going on with me and why. She is attentive, empathetic and able to tailor sessions based on the kind of week or day I’ve had. I’ve spent months at a time working on specific techniques for self regulation and other months receiving her counselling support and spiritual guidance. The time I’ve spent with her has been invaluable. I recommend her to everyone!

Who is this for?
You if you are working in high stress environments and want support maintaining your equilibrium.
You if you work as support for others, in hospital settings, as a therapist, a school teacher/yoga teacher etc and need space for your own support, reflection and transformation.
You if you’re stepping into new depths in your career or relationship and want to build capacity to show up as best you can without negative self critique, without holding back or sabotaging.
If you suffer from chronic pain/illness or on going discomfort in your body.
You if you suffer anxiety, depression.
You if you simply want to uncover a more full and calm and present life, where you are un-afraid to be here just as perfectly imperfect as you are.
I may be a bit of a unicorn when it comes to listening to people. It’s one of my favourite things to do. To hear and hold peoples deepest truths, seeing and accepting them fully. A lot of healing can take place when you’re simply able to speak with a skilful listener.
I’ve always been empathetic. When I was 6 (at my strict catholic) school I wrote about denouncing God, because I couldn’t believe in someone who would allow so much pain in the world (I lived in a very low income community surrounded by family violence). I couldn’t use the word God for a long time. I was so angry about the guilt and shame ‘he’ placed on people. I couldn’t connect with religion, but I was desperate for spirituality. I’m happy to say that now I have a good relationship with the divine and identify that energy by many names. I believe that spirituality is non dogmatic, it’s not about a certain path or set of rules, it’s the innate, undeniable truth of the universe.
In facing and reckoning with my own inner pain, childhood trauma and perceived limitations, I’ve acquired the tools to listen, to be a safe space holder, and to guide.
Healing, growing and connecting has literally been my job. I’ve lived and breathed it for so long. More officially as a Yoga Teacher and Bodyworker, unofficially in the hundreds of hours I’ve spent looking for answers, real answers, not just money makers, but real ways to support myself, and others.
Authenticity is what I live for. I’m usually looking for the barriers I put up between myself and others, and the barriers between others and their own world. Vulnerability is how I connect, to stay soft and playful in a world that can seem so dark at times.
Yoga has provided for me big time, it’s been the bedrock of my spiritual discovery, nervous system regulation and self enquiry (well that and plant medicine). It provides the tools, daily, to come back to myself and to balance my mind, body and soul.
If you’re feeling stuck, if you’re in pain, if you need guidance…I’m ready to be your space holder. I’ll artfully guide you, provide you with tools that actually work and an opportunity where you can unravel and reclaim your wholeness.
